My life experience and background as a Therapist is somewhat eclectic and includes both traditional and alternative forms of healing.
I employ a variety of traditional therapeutic techniques from various theoretical orientations including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic and Gestalt therapy as well as Mindfulness and practices found in Spiritual Psychology.
The more alternative techniques I employ sometimes include Reichian Breathing, Guided Imagery, Meditative/Contemplative Practices and Therapeutic Hypnosis.
Research shows that the most important key to successful therapy is found in the connected, trusting relationship that develops between client and therapist. That is why, first and foremost, I seek to provide a safe, supportive and caring environment where you can experience being listened to and feel fully heard and understood.
"I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides.
I honor the place in you where lies your love, your light, your truth and your beauty.
I honor the place in you where...if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me...
Then there is only one of us." ~Leo Buscaglia
